ABOUT US
Becks Montessori was established in 1992 by Mrs. Neetha Guneratne. Mrs. Neetha started operations in a church building in Eagan, Minnesota, with one other teacher and few students. Within a few short years, the reputation of Becks Montessori, and especially of Mrs. Neetha, grew. For 10 years the reputation for excellence in early childhood Montessori education spread throughout the area and beyond.

Upon her retirement in 2002, Mrs. Neetha blessed Saroja and Tim Edmund with the opportunity to take over Becks Montessori. Within a few short years, Becks Montessori expanded to a new, wonderful location. In 2006, we added our second location in Shakopee, Minnesota.

At both locations, we offer programs for Infants, Toddlers, Preschool, and Kindergarten. At our Eagan location, we offer Montessori Education up to 3rd grade.
​
We look forward to continuing this fine tradition of Montessori Education and serving the surrounding communities for many years to come.
Child Development
Minnesota Montessori Accelerated Learning Center is designed to provide a healthy, safe, and enriching environment to develop the academic, physical, intellectual, spiritual, and emotional potential of each child.
​Our Staff

All of our staff are trained in accordance with Minnesota Department of Human Services.
​
All of our Lead Teachers in the Toddler, Preschool, and Kindergarten classrooms are Montessori Teacher trained, in addition to their other teacher qualifications.
